Lynne Harwood - International All Breeds Judge
 
In 1972, Lynne Harwood purchased her first show dog, an Afghan Hound. She owned  and bred several champions before deciding to look for a breed with less grooming and in 1977 she acquired her first Dobermann. Over the last 50 years Lynne has bred more than 100 champions, 7 Grand champions, 1 Supreme Champion, 12 obedience champions and many multi Best in Show winners in most states of Australia. Although Lynne doesn’t breed many litters her Dobermanns are consistently among the top winning dogs in Australia.  She has imported 3 Dobermanns into Australia, as well as frozen semen from the USA, Canada and England.

In 1982 she was granted her first judging licence, Hounds and over the next 17 years attained her all breeds judging licence. Lynne has judged over 80 all breeds shows in the USA as well as 3 Dobermann and 1 Alaskan Malamute, I Keeshond, 1 Boston Terrier and 1 Samoyed Specialty there. She has also judged breed specialties and all breed shows in England, Canada, France, South Africa, New Zealand, Finland, Spain, Thailand, Sweden, Ireland, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, India, Latvia, Argentina, Brazil, Cyprus, Mexico, Chile, Guatemala, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Denmark, Indonesia, USA, China and the Philippines. Lynne has judged Dobermann Specialties in 14 countries around the world and Rhodesian Ridgeback Specialties in Sweden and Denmark

Lynne has also bred and shown Rhodesian Ridgebacks  and has judged them at Specialty and All Breeds level in many countries around the world. In 2008/9 she acquired and showed her first Bull Terrier winning many in Group and Show awards. 

Lynne has been involved in the Trainee Judges scheme in Melbourne as a Group Leader, Lecture Master and as an accredited tester for the ANKC judges training scheme. Lynne has been President of the Hound Club of Victoria, and served as Secretary of the following clubs, South Eastern Kennel Club, Bass Valley Kennel Club, Cranbourne Dog Club, Box Hill and District Kennel Club, Victorian Poultry and Kennel Club  and VCA New Years Eve Show, and a member of the Dobermann Club of Victoria of which she spent 2 years as Club Secretary. She was also Vice President and acting President of DogsVictoria in the 6 years she served on the board. Lynne is very pro active in the dog world in Australia and has attended Crufts, World Dog Shows and Montgomery multiple times
